This means seeing our clients’ needs before they even know the need exists, solving problems quickly, and making the work of serving others look effortless.

This role is an essential element of our team. As a Beauty Sales Consultant, you ensure each guest has a memorable experience during their visit feeling fully educated on the brands that we offer, leaving with a personalized selection of retail products best suited for them. Each client spending time in the Scott Miller retail store finds value in your expertise and you provide them with education on how to use each product chosen for them specifically. You personally contribute to how well served the guests feel. You represent Scott Miller and show how much we care through your thoughts, words, and actions. In this role, you work directly with our clients as a team with service providers and client relations coordinators to ensure each of our guests is having a great experience in the store whether they are in for a service or just to shop in our store. You are excited to have extensive education and gain knowledge about our brands and each product in the store and feel passionate about sharing that knowledge with each client.


  • You love beauty and you are passionate about serving clients by thoroughly educating them and providing unparalleled hospitality with a high level of professionalism.
  • You are a consultative expert and enjoy providing a thorough consultation with each client about their beauty and product needs
  • Greatly appreciates the impact of the beauty industry and loves the positive effect that the art of makeup, haircare, skin care, fragrance etc. can have on the lives of others.

  • You enjoy working a consistent schedule and are available for retail hours (weekends, some holidays, and special events)

  • Serve clients with thorough and consistent education and achieve personal and team sales goals.
  • Makeup applications, touch-ups and lessons to educate clients on retail purchases and techniques 
  • Know and showcase your understanding of the Scott Miller vision, mission, and values through your actions in the salon.
  • Work in collaboration with Scott Miller makeup artists, service providers, and client relations coordinators to provide impeccable service to our clients
  • Share and promote additional service and retail options, including gift certificates or promotions with each guest.
  • Attend meetings and education as required
  • Attend virtual education opportunities
  • Perform other duties as assigned and directed.
  • Provide beverages, refreshments, and chair-side service to our guests
  • Restock and keep store retail organized and neat
